Navarre in Santa Rosa County, Florida is your charming beachside destination. Nestled between Pensacola and Destin like an oasis, Navarre Beach is the place where life slows down and the fun ramps up. Although we are a smaller town, there are plenty of places for visitors to stay between vacation rentals overlooking the Gulf with luxurious private pools, fully furnished condos, and a variety of nice hotels. Navarre has the longest fishing pier in the Gulf of Mexico. Anglers will absolutely love this fishing experience from catching dinner to sport fishing for Tarpon. Curious minds will love watching the dolphins play and the sea turtles and manta rays swim underneath the pier.

You will also find the Navarre Beach Marine Science Station and the Sea Turtle Conservation Center by the pier which is a great spot to take the kiddos to see all the marine life. Bring your snorkel gear to see even more sea life by swimming out to the artificial reefs and see tropical fish, turtles, dolphins and an amazing array of other sea creatures. Navarre is located along highway 98, about 20 miles from Pensacola and 25 miles from Destin. You can take the scenic route on Gulf Blvd 399 with amazing ocean views the whole way through Gulf Breeze and to Pensacola. Gulf Breeze is located about 20 minutes towards Pensacola and has a variety of excellent seafood restaurants, family friendly outdoor activities, and inviting beaches. Go check out the Gulf Islands National Seashore and inside that is the Naval Live Oaks Area which is a gorgeous forest to walk through and was established in 1828 as the first federal tree farm. Gulf Breeze is also home to the Gulf Breeze Zoo with over 50 acres of animals including giraffes! If you continue on your drive to Pensacola you will find it to be a historic and charming town with great architecture. Pensacola Beach is home to the longest stretch of federally protected seashore in the United States. You’ll find lots of opportunities for solitude and relaxation with miles of unobstructed views.
